March 2, 2024 - Assessing 2021 Burgundy-La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (Fairmont Miramar, Santa Monica): Yellow color. Rich yellow orchard fruit and oak aromas. Vanillin base, lemon, ripe pear, finely weighted acidity, slightly astringent finish. Excellent and potentially outstanding, the wood is in harmony with the weight and concentration of the wine.

March 2, 2024 - Tasted at La Paulee Los Angeles. A lovely surprise - minerally right out the gate. I think this will be a superstar in 10 years.
