March 23, 2017 - I suppose it had to happen eventually, but this is the first Selbach-Oster wine I've not enjoyed. Sulfurous, hot, disjointed, and the reddish fruit there is just doesn't appeal. Fair+.

January 5, 2017 - Pale straw in color, but there is nothing “pale” about this wine! The nose is alive with pear, orange blossom, honey suckle and a touch of diesel. The palate precisely follows the nose in every respect delivering bright, clean flavors on a firm frame of fruit and acidity. Nothing is out of place with this wine. Good QPR too! 12.5% alc. With Monte Cristo sandwiches. Recommended.
