December 4, 2012 - A great blend to pair with dinner. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was well integrated with several different notes appearing throughout the bottle. Drink soon though as some of the tannins have started to fade away on this one.

January 20, 2012 - Opened for about an hour before drinking, no decant, served with peppercorn ribeye steak. Light christmas red color, clear it is an older wine; nose- cherry, boysenberry, pencil lead; taste- similar to nose, cherry, graphite, hint of pepper; medium finish; soft tannins, very nice and ready to drink, got it for a great price so even better! Probably should drink soon if you have some.

January 15, 2012 - Started nicely, no burn. At first a bit tart mid palate but that went away in a matter of minutes. Nice red fruit, cherry. Fruit forward. A very nice bottle of wine with dinner.Would buy again.

December 17, 2010 - SLO Tasting Group - Secret Santa 2010 Tasting: Not decanted, opened ~1 hour before consuming. Bordeaux blend. A spicy wine all around - allspice, nutmeg, and cloves on the nose, with italian herbs and dried cherries/plums on the palate. Extended spicy finish. I haven't had many wines like it, and I'm glad my secret santa picked up the 2003 version of this for me...
