Community Tasting Notes 2

October 28, 2012 - Elegant and simply delightful. The essence of Pinot Noir but none of the funky, musty "barnyard" that comes with the burgundy pinots. All fruit with a delicate scent of mushrooms and earth on the nose, but mostly cherry fruit. Light in colour and taste, but expressive in a soft and elegant way. Finish becomes increasingly subtle with fine tannins and is quite long. I wish I had more of these.

December 31, 2007 - Very typical Pinot Noir nose and palate, but compared to the Calera Selleck and the Chevillon Vaucrains 1er cru I had alongside, this was rather artificial and superficial in style. Very nice to drink, but without the complexity or charm of the other two.
