Community Tasting Notes 9

  • ltemplet Does not like this wine: 78 points

December 24, 2013 - Very dry, light body, not robust, off taste, has not improved with age for me.

October 29, 2013 - Perfectly nice for $15 plus all of WineBid's extras, but it isn't aged claret. Still, it's claret; though there are moments when you wonder if it isn't striving too hard to be "international" and "modern." The corks are dodgy, so I don't think it can age much longer. And how well does a primarily merlot wine age?

October 21, 2013 - On its last legs now, this wine is a lovely, simple, classic claret, redolent of the bdx terroir, when the corks are not shot. But they are going, so drink up soon.
