June 23, 2015 - Past prime and it has faded. Prune, reduced sour cherry, and some raspberry flavors. Dark and brooding. Held too long.

March 27, 2011 - Maroon in color with a little peach on rim. Spicy nose but with nice cherry and vanilla notes. Bold red fruits, cola, and vanilla taste, but not jammy. Well integrated with some pine and forest tones, especially leading to the very well balanced finish. A bit flat on the second day. Time to drink up?
