March 13, 2023 - Very engaging on the nose with a lot going on. On the palate blueberry & blackberry highlight Tahitian vanilla, tobacco, and cedar. A wonderfully balanced and complex wine, a proverbial iron fist in a silk glove. Still deftly made, and absolutely delicious. I was nervous about 2020 because of possible smoke taint, but I notice none here. Stunning wine.
Drinking wonderfully now. Surprisingly, no need to wait. But, I also believe this has the power to go the distance, so to speak. -

February 5, 2023 - Soft tannins, a bit high on acidity 6, dry is around 6, nice complex flavours, around 6 on body. Acidity feels with a green grape just a bit, not surprisingly it’s 2020. This wine will age nicely and acidity will drop but don’t age too long 5 years will be the max.
