November 7, 2022 - NW 2022 Xmas Roadshow (UK): 60 yr old bush vines Grenache, dryland cultivated, the nose shows hung game, molasses, black pepper, dried herbs but wilder more fennel and scrub as well as mineral.
An expressive, elegant, lightly lifted entry with rosewater, mineral and pink peppercorns. There is a thread of acid tension throughout, giving a spine to the wine whilst framed with grippy tannins and a long finish; excellent poise; this is a smart wine.
