January 26, 2024 - pineapple core, underripe kiwi, green mango with reverberations of a riper variety, tonic, glycerin-rich salty brine steeped with juniper, mint, and resinous herbs, the full range of citrus grilled on smoldering rocks, haunting sensations of vanilla custard and tangerine oil with a cooling finish

the acid is searing, albeit integrated, but if you drink this too cold, you’ll miss the deeper tones, there’s an obvious green quality to the fruit, but there’s definitely some yellow and even orange tones to it as well

    July 5, 2023 - So good.

June 30, 2023 - Medium straw color. More savory than fruit driven on the nose with some slightly smoky, rocky minerality with a bit of lemon/lime zest in the background. Completely dry and racy acidity. Wine almost comes off slightly austere but there is a mouthwatering aspect to this wine from the acidity that makes you want to keep going back for more. I think I opened this wine a bit too early and would recommend holding for another year or two at least.

May 27, 2023 - Freshly cut green apple and lime. An incredible purity and intensity of fruit on the nose.

Medium plus acid with a long finish that mirrors the nose.

In my opinion, a truly great wine is enjoyable in youth and with age. While this will clearly be incredible in 10+ years, the primary characteristics today deliver.

April 15, 2023 - 10.5% abv. AP 8. EYE: a snowy murmuration of gas precipitates within 30 seconds of a pale, brass pour. NOSE: stiff, yeasty tendons. Dime water. Withdrawn, grand formations of yellow fruit. Tartan. MOUTH: Pretty, elegant detail and punctuated acceleration rapidly opens up on ludicrous acidity. It's a sweetly genial swing open of the gate, then—remorseless, electric brine. The action tumbles forward, illustrating percussive stone, thistle, black lemon, coddled marble, greengage, and vanilla pudding. Quite dry and tonic. Remarkably compact. Very long, pensive finish.
