  August 20, 2008 - A pretty good little syrah, for $10. Deep, dark color. Lovely nose of berries.
  Good taste, with red fruit, spice and some tannins on the finish.
  (Surprising b/c this is unoaked). It was great with the Italian sausage
  flat-bread pizza, and good on its own, too.
  
  2 days later (vac-u-vin and in the fridge): Still pretty good and remaining
  1/3 bottle was drinkable ... although the fruit was softer. I was impressed for $10.

  March 1, 2008 - It does the whole red fruit thing really well. There is interest on the nose, it follows through on the palate and is balanced with acidity and a slightly bitter finish. It is a tidy little drink which offers a decent amount of pleasure for its price. There are claims on the bottle that it can be kept for 10 years. I’d have my doubts.
