September 9, 2023 - Very similar to a Spanish Tempranillo. Very strong, strong acidity, very savory, dare to say almost "bloody" at times, but overarching flavors are of fresh red grapes and red cherry. Aftertaste of red grape skin, sweet grape must and bitter dark chocolate. Very enjoyable with any red meats, light enough to be enjoyed with something like a mid-rare burger.
