June 20, 2012 - This is a borderline very good wine, but at the price it should be bordering on outstanding, so I knocked it down a few points on poor QPR. Heavy oak and alcohol dominated the fruit despite decanting.

June 9, 2011 - Firm, crisp cherry fruit; still somewhat tannic and slightly earthy/ rustic. After an hour of decanting becomes smoother and more refined. Very good, buy not outstanding especially at this price point.
