January 25, 2017 - Bottle is long gone. Nice Vinegar.

January 14, 2013 - I have been a fan of "de Gain" for many years -- it was our "go to" wine when we lived in Barcelona. The 2002, however, has not evolved as well as has other vintages of this wine. The nose was typical for Tempranillo; however, a bit muted. The flavor profile was a bit disjointed with some acidic, weedy notes and harsh tannins starting to vie with the berry flavors. We drank about half the bottle and dispatched the rest to the sink as it was not improving with air time. This is not typical at all for Artadi wines. Perhaps it was just an off bottle.

October 17, 2009 - Blind Tasting (Farpointe Cellar): The nose was fairly light, but I did get cherry, licorice, and raspberry. The palate was a bit tannic, and had raspberry, licorice, and a cherry finish.

August 29, 2008 - Pretty disappointing for this wine. The '01 is much better. A bit stringent and flat. Drinkable but not worth the money.

August 5, 2008 - Rich Blackberry fruit on the nose and a touch of vanilla. Found the palate pretty lean and tannic - fruit there and some smoke. Not really my thing.
