May 7, 2011 - Deep plum on the nose with plum making another appearance accompanied by a high cocoa chocolate on the palate. Very saturated color. Very impressive for an "off vintage"

March 11, 2009 - Cuban Dinner at Emilio's Home (Miami, Florida): MiamiAtty brought this bottle. 13% alcohol. 1998 was a below average vintage and this bottle showed. It was over the hill with musty red fruit. Still drinkable and it had some character to it but had clearly seen better days. 83 points.
