June 9, 2018 - Pnp. Very pale straw in the glass. Nose and palate are everything you want them to be showing crisp tart and ripe apples, lemon zest, lemon confit, lime juice, river rock and chalky mineralité. This was like lightning racing down the midpalate to a citrus and mineral finish that had staying power. Very nice stuff here.

February 25, 2017 - Lovely bottle of muscadet, still fresh and good acidity.

February 25, 2017 - Dinner at Mandu w/ the old crew: Crystalline and vibrant, this wine is awesome, per usual. Salty, chalky, dried honey, wax candles, lemon curd, some peach nectar. Lingering minerals and sea salt. Plenty of life ahead of this wine, but this bottle was in a great state.

March 21, 2010 - At a picnic at the Montlake Fill with odd little leftovers from the fridge. Odd cheeses, crackers, terra chips, etc. Sat in the 70 degree sun here in Seattle, beautiful day, but what the hay?

Lovely wine. I love L d'Or. This was real ripe, toasty and leesy, but with decent acids. Went fast. Made me actually think a little of a good Chablis.

March 30, 2007 - Striking. Crystal clear and unwavering on the palate. Cold stream water and a citrus middle. Lightens on the finish without losing focus. Delightful.
