April 20, 2024 - A bit of a mess of flavors. Solid wine for the price point, I'll admit, but not one I can fall in love with. It comes across as a fruit jam full of red, blue, and black berries, all a bit overdone. I love many Bolgheris for their lean, elegant style. None of that here. I'm guessing the Syrah in the mix tips this the wrong way for me. I'll make the most of my half case but not buy again.

April 11, 2024 - Drank over two nights. Bumping this up a point since May 2023. Really nice super Tuscan blend and solid QPR. Goes well with Italian fare or on its own. I have a few more but these are drinking well young.

March 31, 2024 - Deep dark reddish purple in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & cassis with overtones of floral & earthy/dusty notes, spices, minerals, herbs & a hint of cocoa notes. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth texture, plush, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, berries and plums with spices, cocoa, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present if decanted & extended airing (90+ min.) but should develop further with additional aging. An indicative blend of 50% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cab Sauvignon & 10% Petit Verdot. Very good QPR.

February 28, 2024 - There is perfume here but seems to lack a depth and intensity of other B9lgheri wines. Early harvest? Tart finish.

February 27, 2024 - Trade Tasting (Monopole, Sydney): Meaty, savoury blackcurrant, plums, cherry, plenty of woody notes here as well. Medium plus intensity acidity and tannins, chewy, planky oak, fruit plays second…no third fiddle to this. Crikey
