Nice, attractive ruby with no obvious youth.
Big, heady, aromatic nose with blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry, with a lovely thread of rose woven through.
Very attractive on the palate. Feels quite light and fresh, but with lots of character and interest. The label says it's 14% abv, but I'd guess at 12.5%-13.5% such is the lightness and balance in the mouth.
A little meatier and bloodier on the finish, but with super aromatics on the finish and after.
A very charming wine for (just) under a tenner. -

December 30, 2022 - A blend of Kekfrankos, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Kardaka and Cabernet Sauvignon. Redcurrant and rosehip aromas and sappy, bright red fruits flavours too. Light and fresh on the palate, belying its 14% ABV.
