March 8, 2024 - The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raspberry, rose, violet and cherry. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture and has flavors of liquorice, structured tannins. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

October 12, 2023 - Giacomo Fenocchio night (Cru and Domaine, Portland OR): The nose is elegant and savory with fresh tones of red cherries, strawberries, fresh picked berries, crushed rocks, rose petals, violets, and some roasted herbs. This is really lovely and heady while showing off excellent depth. The Full bodied feel shows off excellent balance and the depth of the nose with tart, high acidity and chewy, high tannins. The structure is clearly youthful and in need of time to let itself really shine. Still, there is a real red-fruited base that is attractive and fresh along with excellent depth across the nose and palate.

August 22, 2023 - Prince - Barolo 2019 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Dried red fruit, pot pourri, dried citrus peel, a little cream and sweet spice supporting. Juicy, medium plus intensity acidity, the fruit is present behind the talc tending to chalk tannins, long, balanced, approachable, nice
