  January 3, 2012 - Decent Napa Syrah. Didn't get the black pepper, mostly a bit of old world approach, not sweet, nor extracted dark blue fruit. Good level headed wine. Balanced wood, fruit, tannin acid.Drinking great w a few hours of decanter time. Great food wine. This is prob not going to get better just different.

  June 24, 2011 - Nice rich Syrah color, not extracted, old world treatment. Light gamey herby nose. Leather, dust, oak. Palate is light w some glycerin then a tight strawberry leather dried fruit, pepper grip. Still has some fruit & tannin to age. Nice effort, classy winery.

  April 30, 2011 - hint of blackberry, opening up as it gets drank.
  The wine looks Purple colored.
  The legs are Slow.
  It smells like and Blackberry.
  It tastes like and Black Pepper.
  The body is Medium.
  The wine is textured Satin-like.
  The wine finishes Medium.

  December 26, 2008 - Ripe nose of blackberry and plum. Nice herbal edge with soft tannin and notes of smoked meat. I really liked this. Gave it about an hour in the decanter. Should have bought more...
