January 25, 2021 - Dark purple hue. Dark fruit, blueberry, little vanilla on nose. Dark chocolate, earthy, tobacco, plum, herbal hints. Not overly complex-- seems like an average bottle.

December 31, 2013 - Still drinking well. Prominent bell pepper and smooth tannis and muted fruits. Creamy mouthfeel, some vanilla on the finish. Very dark, mild sediment.

September 14, 2013 - Finished off my last five bottles recently and whilst all were kept in the same bin (wine cellar is in side of Mountain) 3 were superb, complex and not overpowering but with good length whilst a couple felt like they were drying out-strange.

April 7, 2013 - Dark purple color with a nose of vanilla and dark chocolate. This wine possesses a dense, creamy palate with flavors of dark chocolate, graphite, scorched earth, tobacco, black currant with hints of oregano and thyme riding on a smooth, velvety texture. Finishes with a streak of charcoal. I'd like to give it a high score but the bitterness just seems to overwhelm the fruit given its age. This can still go on until 2018, but most of the fruit has already dried out.

The wine looks Purple colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like and Black currant (cassis).
