January 1, 2024 - Sampled in a blind tasting against Leeuwin Estate Prelude Chardonnay from 2018. This was a dead giveaway because of the oak - true to the Penfolds house style that I was expecting. It’s a big, creamy Chardonnay and has plenty of carry and a nice mouth feel. I don’t mind it although I prefer the Leeuwin style (personal preference).
