  January 19, 2024 - Floral and pure nose, supple and juicy fruit, spicy minerality, gently grippy tannins, the finish is more relaxed and not as tight as four months ago, with better fruit expression. An uncomplicated delight.

  December 12, 2023 - Casual lunch: First time trying this cult producer, apparently he took over Bernard van Berg’s old vineyards. Not normally a fan of such wines but thought this was very good. Superb, lifted floral aromatics, very pretty on the palate that was more Pinot-like. Silky and elegant, precise palate unlike most natural-leaning makers. Apparently their whites are even better!

  December 9, 2023 - Red fruit and just a hint of volatility on the nose. Palate is nicely balanced and has good fruit weight but the finish gets cut a little short with more of that volatility. A nice bottle of natural Beaujolais.
