December 14, 2014 - Curious to taste this after someone left it at my house. Dark yellow, almost orange color. Dried honey, baked pear, hazelnut and some lemon oil on the nose. Nutty and a bit oxidized, this wine is over the hill but still interesting. Lots of nougat and dried honey and clove over top of some dried pear and dried mango fruit, some orange rind and pith mixed in. Not one to drink a glass of, but interesting enough to see what a low-level Chardonnay does at this age.

February 16, 2012 - Pear and vanilla are strong on the nose, the once lemon cream that everyone mentions has turned to the aroma of cold baby belletoile (a type of brie cheese) with lemon zest. Quite a bit of malo. Nice by itself; we'll see if it lasts until dinner! My only grunt is that there's too much oak on it for a Sonoma chardonnay fermented with Montrachet yeast. The juice screams Burgundy, but the winemaker knows notihing but Napa. Still, decent wine.

April 24, 2011 - Bold flavored. Good with strong cheeses or spicy meats.

May 30, 2010 - Very light and mellow. Not bad for a warn summer day.

May 14, 2010 - Sun-dried apple, tangerine, and vanilla oak flavors. A little on the sweet side. Decent pairing for grilled fruit salad.
