  September 22, 2022 - Absolutely amazed at how well this '92 Condreu showed! Still fresh for the most part, must've been cellar direct. Really great oily, floral, old pear, peach, yogurty notes, not off in any way. Somm gave us a 1/2 glass someone else was drinking this at the bar. W/T at secret somm bar Tokyo.

  May 18, 2016 - Pop and poured, and very impressed with how well this wine showed. The aromas were quite pure and expressive, showing some tropical fruit flavors and a nice richness. The palate texture was perhaps the best part as it was very smooth, lush, and pure, with a impressive creamy texture. The flavors on the palate were smooth and soft, with just a bit of minerality and white fruits present. The finish shows hints of minerality and acidity. Throughout, this was very smooth and drinkable. Really enjoyable.

Quite interesting - almost a guilty pleasure - because the wine certainly lacks acidity. Still, it's astonishing that a 23-year old viognier from a poor vintage can still be this intriguing.
