February 27, 2009 - 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and ages 12 months in French oak barrels.
    Decanted for 45 min.
In the beginning, the wine was a bit closed, but you could still feel some mild oak, strawberries and gooseberries. On the palate it was simple, a bit thin, alcoholic with pronounced astringency.
It changed completely after 1,5 hour. Somehow, it got more fruity on the nose....you could easily smell ripe strawberries and gooseberries....the oak is now more present but totally integrated into the wine. It has very nice acidity, smooth texture with shy but polished tannins and short aftertaste. It needs to be decanted for at least 1 hour.
