March 25, 2024 - Fruity, almost with a candy touch to the raspberry notes, distinguished oak and some earthy/forest floor notes. This to me seems like an early drinker, and I doubt it will see much development.

March 23, 2024 - My first PN from Giant Steps. The fruit will come around nicely, but needs a couple of more years in the cellar. But after 1 - 2 h it shows classic notes, strawberry, red cherry, great minerality and a great acidity. Drink or hold.

March 9, 2024 - Purchased at tasting room in Healesville yesterday, one glass poured last evening, recapped and refrigerated overnight, note from day two. Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of black cherry, raspberry, spice, and clove with subtle notes of stems - complex and ever changing. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium tannin is slightly grippy and quite youthful, medium body, medium+ intensity, 13.0% abv with developing flavors of ripe black cherry and spice with a mineral core through the mid-palate to backend with a medium+ finish.

    Balance: Outstanding
    Length: Excellent
    Intensity: Excellent
    Complexity: Excellent

A superb Pinot drinking well upon opening today. Doesn't have the acid and tannin backbone to age for a decade+, but will definitely benefit from another 3-5 years in the cellar. Exceptional Yarra Valley Pinot Noir.

February 27, 2024 - Cherry and earth on nose

Complex palate, 20% whole bunch adding a bit of austerity. Bright acidity, fruit over savoury layers, long on finish

    13% abv, 5.5 TA

February 18, 2024 - Wow! What an incredible wine, so floral delicate yet with poise and persistence. Aromas of bright red raspberries, cranberries, slight black current, crushed red roses, black tea, liquorice and crushed stones. The palate is energetic, bright yet incredibly focused, with red fruit laced with mineral notes and tea leaves along with refreshing acidity, the mid-palate shows grace yet persistence, leading to a focused yet savalating finish.
