March 2, 2024 - Deep Garnet, murky colour. Stewed cherries and strawberries on the nose, along with ink and spice notes. Aromas of the nose replicated in the taste, along with some cured meat. High alcohol, high acid, medium tannins, medium-full body. Very good, while not being very pinot-like. Complex enough while still enjoying the balance. At peak, further cellaring might result overwhelming umami characters. Pleasant experience.
