June 7, 2022 - Very refined, no aeration required. Good nose and wonderful on the palate with fine grained tannins.

December 5, 2020 - Dec Barolo Night @ Jake's!: Been wanting to taste this so really glad to generous friends to drink with! Dark fruits, red fruits, dried roses, spices, herbs, figs, eucalyptus, cigar box, incense. There is a slight tinge of heat. Nice tannins. There is quite regal. Open up. 93/94

March 11, 2020 - In Arabba. Abs beguiling - lovely nose, roses, tar, lilacs, sous bois. Generous palate and all in place. Long aftertaste. Outdid the Conterno Francia 2001 by quite some margin.

October 16, 2019 - Another good showing of this wine. Expressive aromatic nose of sweet spices, rose petals, tar. Medium-full bodied with ripe but also demanding Nebbiolo tannins on the finish.
