August 25, 2023 - A single vineyard Argentinian Cab from Catena. The nose is slightly muted, with black fruit and a touch of alcohol. On the palate, it’s warm with lots of blue fruit and a clear spine of chocolate and earth. A lighter style, its medium bodied with a short but smooth finish and silky but noticeable tannins. Not everyone will like this style, but for those who do it offers fantastic QPR. Drink now, not sure time in the bottle will add much, but should last the decade.

July 1, 2023 - A fine table Cab. Light aroma of tobacco and spice. Nothing special on the palate, but nothing offensive, either. A good, flavorful Cab. The big attraction here is the price. At $30 a bottle, it's a good bargain.
