December 27, 2023 - Although I did not taste this head to head w/the 2020, the 2020 is probably a little bit better. This is still a nice wine for the $. It improved w/an hour of air in the bottle and was better with food than as a cocktail wine.
I did taste this head to head w/Saviah 2021 Barbara. The Saviah was a little better-more fruit, less cranberry sour taste. -

November 9, 2023 - Very decent, varietal Barbera. Purplish edge to the dark fruit. Nose is dark cherry, a little smoky and wild. Pretty rich in the mouth but with good acidity. For the money, this is hard to beat. 5-11-15-8: 89/100.

June 19, 2023 - Happy to have found this while travelling. A tad richer than expected while also with nice acidity, deep red fruit, and freshness; nice with beef.
