Community Tasting Notes 2

March 7, 2024 - Chantereves Dinner (Flor Wines, Portland OR): The nose is elegant and refined with fresh tones of orange peels, meyer lemons, nectarines, flint, spiced pears, peaches, and some toasty notes. There is a forward nature to this that is friendly and delicious, but it does lack a smidge of depth. The Medium bodied feel shows off the elegance of the nose with tart, medium+ acidity. This is a fun and for immediate Aligote. It works so well now that I have a hard time seeing age benefitting it *that* much in comparison to what it currently brings.

March 2, 2024 - La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - Santa Monica CA): Walkaround tasting. Bright and elegant with easily enough ripeness. Good weight, very good length. Good now.
