March 2, 2024 - La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - Santa Monica CA): Walkaround tasting. Very tasty now with bright red fruit, faint meatiness, and good+ length. Borderline Grand Cru density to me.

March 2, 2024 - Assessing 2021 Burgundy-La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (Fairmont Miramar, Santa Monica): Medium color and weight. Sappy with an obviously woody base. Sweet cherry followed by excellent acidity, soil, and dry tannins. Needs to shed some oak, but an excellent Gevrey Grand Cru.
