    Yes. It was too young.
    Like many 96 red Burgundies, it's absolutely singing now.
    Beautiful red fruit nose, so vibrant: cherry, cranberries, perhaps a little rhubarb.
    Nice mineral notes to go along with this.
    On the palate, it's so lively with vibrant acidity, very modest alcohol, small frame but impeccably balanced.
    It finishes on a slightly tart but very pleasant note. Long finish.
    No real hurry to drink...

    May 19, 1999 - NYC Group does Pinots (NYC): Good deep color. Light cherry nose. Nice raspberry fruit, but the acids seem a little out of balanced. Perhaps this wine needs time, but it did not show well tonight. Given the vintage, it is probably too young.
