    April 21, 2024 - held up wonderfully

November 23, 2017 - Really impressed with this Spanish Tempranillo from Dehesa Gago called "Little g". Flavor, tannins and structure holds up for 12+ years and it could have laid down another 3-5 without losing anything. Ripe, full dark-red plum notes with hints of vanilla and spice on the front., Mid-pallet is filled with moderate tannins and complex fruit/glycerin. Finish lasts a while; 30+ seconds with lasting cocoa and stone fruit. Sorry to see my last bottle of "Little g" go down. Haven't been able to get any more in the US.

February 5, 2017 - Amazing staying power. Deep purple color extends well into the ring. Black cherry notes and other roasted stone fruit on the nose. Big fruit meets perfectly balanced tannins even after 9 years in cellar. Long, silky finish with compact almost chocolate notes. Wish I had lots more!

April 9, 2008 - Plum jam on the nose. Tar and hints of black pepper held their own against the forward (too sweet) fruit. Acidity went bitter on the finish. I remember this tasting better.

October 5, 2007 - rich, berry, no earth, little spice. sweetish. concentration is impressive, but not quite my style. i know a lot of people who would dig this.
