April 26, 2024 - Deep ruby garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, boysenberries & raspberries with overtones of dusty/earthy & spice notes of cloves & cinnamon, some floral notes of roses, cola, minerals & a slight hint of oak/vanilla. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, mulberries & cranberries with spices, rhubarb, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but should develop further with additional aging.

February 10, 2024 - Nice acidity, energetic red and black cherry and some berry. A touch of cola, some earth and spice but nothing crazy - might develop a bit with a couple more years. Right now the complexity is a bit muted and probably needs time to delineate. Fine tannins, integrated nicely. A good wine overall, I appreciate the liveliness going on here. I only gave it 20 minutes of air.

January 7, 2024 - Good earthiness balanced with a darker fruit. Still light though. Great pairing with tenderloin

July 4, 2023 - Spices, white pepper, tannins astringent finish. Good acidity. Tart cherries and dark cherries. 91-92. A few years would improve this wine.

June 9, 2023 - Pepper, baking spice and sweet floral scent. Lean, tar, tart rhubarb and red currant flavor with fine tannins.
