May 21, 2024 - Deep ruby color. Dark berries and turned earth on the nose. Medium bodied on the palate with fine tannins on the finish.

November 19, 2023 - Good deep color. Nice nose - great minerality, black forest fruit, some pine. In the mouth, medium bodied, with nice dark forest fruit, but a lot of leather, and some charred herbs. Very good purity. Clearly volcanic soils. Lacking some complexity, but for 18 bucks, it's a winner! And excellent with southern Italian fare.
