Community Tasting Notes 1

December 30, 2007 - Within first hour or so, nose was very primary and grapey, almost like a Dolcetto. When it started to settle in, the nose turned significantly to tar and licorice. On the palate, restrained dark plummy fruit and the aforementioned tar. Tar continues briefly on a slightly drying finish. Would be better if the grapey streak dropped out over time.
