December 9, 2021 - One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Dried fruit aromas (almost Amarone-esque) during decant. After resting in the decanter, darker bowl lightening to an amber rim with a small clear halo. The nose in the glass had dried cherries, cedar and tobacco. In the mouth: Smooth wine with tannins all melted away, cassis, tarragon and blackberry. Nice long finish and a lovely accompaniment to food.

April 4, 2021 - Fabulous wine and perhaps the WOTN. This was aromatic with some lead pencil and cigar ash notes on the nose. In mouth it has graphite, blackberry, and cassis. The in mouth flavors are dark cherry and mulberry. Wonderful finish which is balanced with no overly tannin or overly acidic reactions.

October 18, 2020 - Dark ruby. Aromatic nose of cassis, black cherries, tobaco, earth. Medium bodied, medium plus acidity, fine grained tanins. Fruity and very balanced. At peak now.
