January 29, 2009 - Very good Argentinian estate bottled cab enjoyed earlier tonight with Kim, good CT friend neighborbill and spouse Debbie at the monthly Hickory Wine Shoppe tasting in Hickory NC, two bottles ordered and an excellent QPR at this price point. Big, bold, black, full bodied, good mouth feel and surprisingly well balanced. Excellent bouquet of dark stone fruit, cassis and licorice with typical big cab flavors of blackberry, cassis, leather and tar with hint of black pepper on pleasant lingering aftertaste. Highly recommend this wine, especially at this price point.
