March 16, 2024 - Blueberries and ripe sweet cherries. Big jammy body. Fruit tart finish with some slight basil notes. Med- acidity, med+ tannins.

December 30, 2023 - Deep purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Fruity nose with red and blue fruits and chocolate notes.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, sweet raspberries, plums, light wood, earth, black pepper, spices, cola and coffee.

Long tangy finish with sour cherries.

This Russian River Pinot Noir is young, but already very tasty. Nicely balanced and elegant.

Good right out of the bottle and better after an hour of airtime.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years.

Soft and smooth. Fruit forward and easy drinking. Pleasant and delicious.

I paired it with cheeses and crackers.

Pinot Noir grapes were aged in French oak barrels for 9 months.

    14.5% alcohol by volume.

    91 points.

    $65.

September 27, 2023 - Deep raspberry color. Beautiful nose of black cherries, deep plums, and raspberry jam – the fruit backed up with savory, floral, inviting tones: violets, warm clay, red pepper flakes, rose petals, rhubarb, with light roast coffee. The palate has lively acidity, refined tannins, nicely structured and textured, with juicy black cherries, tangy red plum fruit, and your favorite cranberry relish/jam. The fruit is laced with dried rose petals, herbal tea, black pepper, with some sun-roasted herbs and clay elements. Pure, vibrant, mineral-tinged red fruits on the finish. Great intro to their style and an exceptional wine in its own right.

September 21, 2023 - he nose is rather monolithically cherry compote (think maraschino cherries, baking spices, and cherry liqueur), but it never struck me as disappointing as I kept getting drawn back into this captivating aroma. It’s full bodied on the palate: Thick, smooth, slightly sweet, smooth-ish, and very juicy. The flavor profile features black cherry, plum, black currant, kirsch, baking spice, and dried sage. Another great RRV appellation wine, it’s complete and good now after a long decant.
