December 31, 2007 - Cherry and kirsch on the nose. Palate suffers from a serious lack of depth, though it is balanced otherwise.

March 1, 2007 - Specialty Imports Tradeshow (Hotel Captain Cook): Medium body pinot noir with some complexity that was unexpected. Nice earthy aromatics with mushroom, toasty oak, and a mineral streak. The palate shows great ripe cherry with balanced acidity that one would expect from NZ Pinot. Better than anticipated.
