Community Tasting Notes 4

January 7, 2024 - Opened in the bottle for a few hours. Some ripe fruit but mostly savory meat and forest floor. Borderline Syrah like. At $50 plus there are better options.

December 13, 2023 - Plenty of red and black fruits well balanced with hints of forest floor. It is rather sweet but not bothersome. A proper pinot noir which goes nicely with sweet BBQ.

November 4, 2023 - The Sixth Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir (Houston, Texas): Retail $45. Medium to dark color with subtle fruit, a touch of meatiness, and a touch of earthiness on the nose. Whoa. Another lovely wine: balanced, subtle fruit, zingy, and finishes strong. Outstanding. 93 Points.

September 16, 2023 - Medium garnet in color. Forward, attractive & aromatic nose of ripe red fruit aromas of red cherries, blueberries & strawberries with overtones of floral notes & spices, earthy/dusty, cola, minerals & a touch of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sweet red cherries, blueberries & strawberries with spices, herbs, cola, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present and has some room for further development with an additional aging.
