August 30, 2023 - Strong nose of sweet grape must, benefits from at least 1-2 hours of decanting to tame its acidity and bitterness, and really flesh out the full fruit notes. Initial palate is solid, expressing flavors of blackcherry, red grape, with medium tannins followed by a firm, yet subtle aftertaste of oak and tobacco. Really good and awesome pairing with beef.
