The palate is still a bit raisin-like though, with low/medium acidity, medium/high powdery tannins, despite little sensation of oak or oak flavours, such it the power of the fruit. Medium/full body, medium long finish of a little warmth. I though this way better balanced than the following ‘Beast’ cuvee.

May 27, 2023 - Barossa be consumed 2022 (Brisbane): Dark and vibrant colour. Intensely ripe and fruity nose. Some meatiness. Oak coming thorough on paalte, that is surprisingly much less overt than the nose. Chewy tannins and refreshing acidity. Long finish. Impressive in a bigger style.
