September 28, 2023 - Popped and immediately aerated it into the glass. A bit of forest funk on the nose. Quite fruity, though slight mineral earthiness layered in on the palate. Mildly acidic on a fairly short finish. Not much in the way of tannins. Probably should have decanted it for a couple hours. All in all, it's drinkable but with a poor QPR. Lots better out there for the price. Or cheaper.

April 30, 2023 - Jammy red currants, baking spice, overripe raspberries, and dusty earth on the nose. Some eucalyptus and vanilla round things out. Palate is definitely rich with fruit, but well framed by tannin. Perfumed in its spice aromas.

February 14, 2023 - Decanted 1.5 hours. Dark ruby with purple. Smelled blackberry compote, plum, cassis, and smoke; tasted fruit-led but with some spiciness. Rich and concentrated in the mouth with lightly drying tannins and a lingering dry finish.
