Community Tasting Notes 12

March 15, 2024 - Medium ruby. Aromas of cedar, earth and hibiscus. Medium body, crisp acidity, heavier tannins (for Pinot), and good balance. Flavors of red apple, sawdust and hibiscus. Medium finish.

February 1, 2024 - Medium-deep bright garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, strawberries & raspberries with overtones of floral & spice notes, earthy/dusty, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, mulberries & cranberries with spices, minerals, herbs & a slight hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing but should develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score (93+).

December 30, 2023 - Great, not outstanding, but then it’s young. The positives include clean red fruit and nice acidity.
