May 3, 2024 - Light golden color. Essence of Myers lemon, pears, hibiscus and grapefruit. On the palate, notes of grapefruit, limeade, honeydew melon and white apricots. A bit of a mineral finish that is long and pleasant.

December 10, 2023 - Light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of stone fruits, pear, Myer lemon & some tropical fruit notes with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle, minerals, spices, butterscotch & oak/vanilla in the background. Medium body with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of green apples, lemons/limes & tropical fruit with lemon curd, minerals, spices, buttery & oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present although it may develop further with additional aging.

October 26, 2023 - Ojai Food + Wine Festival; 10/26/2023-10/29/2023 (Ojai Valley Inn): I haven't had KB One Sixteen in several years and this took me immediately back. Readily identifiable as that wine. Very nice but a bit too much oak for my taste.
