October 6, 2023 - This was a very straightforward natural orange wine, with a lot of sediment, spontaneous fermentation nose, some tannin, and clear aromas of apples, even to the point of resembling a cidre from Normandy. Generally liked at the tasting where it was served.

April 1, 2023 - First time I have had to create a new wine in CT. Small scale natural wine producer (480 bottles of this vintage garganega was produced) imported by a neighbor and located in Colli Euganei but not within the DOC, apparently. Very deep yellow. Delicious sponti nose with varnish and smoke and good structure with some tannin and a savoury finish; quite floral but not identifiably garganega or a Soave-like. Especially good with vegetables. Still good on the second day. Enormous amount of sediment.
