June 25, 2016 - Beautiful Israeli Cabernet and at great point of its life.
I disagree with some other earlier tasters that this wine is "over its peak", actually this specific bottle was in great shape (I had it in my wine fridge for at least 10 years), full bottle (no wine lost at all) and the cork was in great shape too - looks like 5 years old one at most.
The color is dark and shining garnet, narrow whitish rim, medium body.
Great nose of dark fruits (cherries, plums, berries), dark fruits preserve, nice cigar smoke and some earthy tones (cedar and mushrooms ?).
Super tasty wine- same mix of fruits on the palate, very integrated and balanced (all in good shape and proportion - acidity, alcohol, tannin, a bit of residual sweetness), nice and tasty tannin, medium plus and very fine finish. Great wine and I believe it still has another year or two to be in this great shape.

March 29, 2015 - Eli Raban shared a bottle of this great wine with me
Solid cork that showed few upwards creeping red marks up to quarter height of the cork.
dark red-purple-black colour with no ageing marks on the rim
nose of quality ripe dark fruity aroma, with some oxidised hints
intense, powerful, full-bodied, integrated tannins, excellent harmony & acidity level, good complexity, lively dark fruits flavours, opens and improves in the glass after an hour from uncorking the bottle, med-long enjoyable finish.

    bottom line:
    a classic top-quality Israeli CS
still drinkable and enjoyable, but already started its decline after peak.
drink now if you still have any.

August 15, 2014 - Heady bouquet. Smooth, earthy and black fruit taste. Needs to be decanted due to sediment. Reaching the end of its drinking period.

December 1, 2013 - Full body, dark garnet red color, aromatic, ripe red fruits, vanilla, oaky and spicy aroma, mostly forest berries and plum, black currant and chocolate on the palate, fruity and juicy on finish, long finish, bold texture, high but well integrated tannins, low acidity, well balanced, food friendly. Well associated to meat and vegetables. Serve 18º - 22º. Open at least 40 minutes beforehand. Post matured, drink now and may be next two years.

May 14, 2011 - Starting to fade out, lucky I haven't waited more with one.
