Community Tasting Notes 2

September 9, 2023 - For being 26 years old, this still was hanging on to its youthful side while showing some tertiary class. Aromas of fresh cherries, mushrooms, forest floor, and cedar on the nose. Tastes of cherry cough syrup, tobacco, graphite, pepper, and hints of caramel on the medium(+) bodied palate. There was still a nice acid streak that gave some lift and a nice tannic grip that gave a nice texture through the long finish. I'm glad a took a chance on this at an auction site!
